Rental Platform
Onefarmer is a platform designed to help farmers find locally available agricultural machines for rent. Our platform connects farmers with machine owners/vendors, allowing them to book machines for use on their farms.
Booking and Follow-up
Once a farmer books a machine for rent and the vendor accepts, the onefarmer team will follow up with both parties to ensure that the service is completed successfully.Vendor Cancellation
If a machine owner (vendor) cancels a request, the farmer will receive an SMS and notification in the app. The farmer will then need to book another machine with a different vendor.
Alternative Vendor
The onefarmer team will not look for an alternative vendor if one vendor rejects a booking request.
Price Negotiation
The onefarmer team will not engage in price negotiation. Farmers and vendors are responsible for price negotiation.
Payment Options
Farmers can pay the service amount via cash, directly to the vendor or via UPI method. If the vendor receives cash, then he will then pay the commission owed to onefarmer via onefarmer UPI method. If a farmer pays the rental amount via UPI (digital), the payment will be deposited to onefarmer's account, and the onefarmer team will pay the vendor within two days (T+2).
Land Measurement
Onefarmer team is not responsible for any discrepancy in land measurement. The farmer and vendor are responsible for discussing and resolving any such discrepancies.
Quality Issues
If a farmer raises any quality issues, the onefarmer team will take action against the vendor and issue a warning or vendor license.
Equipment Condition
Vendors are responsible for maintaining their machines in good condition. If something goes wrong with the rented machine during use, the vendor is responsible for resolving the issue. The onefarmer team is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the use of rented machines and will not be held liable for any such damages or losses.
Rental Price Variability
The rental price for machines listed on the onefarmer platform may vary based on several factors, including the condition of the soil, the quantity of machines rented, weather conditions, and changes in fuel prices. The prices mentioned on the platform are estimates only and may be subject to change based on the above-mentioned factors. The final rental price will be agreed upon between the farmer and vendor, and the onefarmer team will not engage in price negotiation or be responsible for any discrepancies between the estimated and final rental price.
